  1. Magnus started to fuck around and enjoy life pleasures. This is the way.

  2. Iv lost 7 games in 20 mins before Magnus only for 2023 and that’s his worst ever season in history is unbelievably impressive

  3. Magnus has got everything in chess. IF there were another 5-10 players with an Elo close to 2850+ then he could really try to hit 2900 maybe the only left goal. If I am not mistaken, that is not easy when most top players are barely more than 2800. If you are as achieved as Magnus is, what he should play for, more money? Come on, the man is a league on his own, of course he can be defeated by other players, but to my humble opinion Magnus has already passed every "test". Has he really any need to stay to the top for 30 years so that we can call him one of the best if not the best player ever?

  4. It's intriguing to note the fluctuating nature of Carlsen's Elo ratings over the years. From 2010 to 2013, he experiences a notable ascent, going from 2809 to 2875. However, the subsequent years saw a gradual decline, reaching a surprising low of 2807 (even lower than his 2010 rating!). Nonetheless, he attains another peak at 2889 in 2019. The rollercoaster continues as he faces another descent, hitting his lowest rating in 2023. While this pattern may not serve as a reliable predictor, it reflects the ebb and flow nature of motivation and the potential for improvement plateaus. Perhaps in the upcoming years, he will stage a comeback, aiming to finally realize the elusive 2900 rating he has been aspiring to achieve.

  5. If a player is not playing any games, then every month 10 points should be reduced.

  6. Even if this is not a great year for Magnus, I think the stats look exaggerated because there has been a bit of a rating deflation going on.

  7. #suggestion Svetozar Gligorić vs Tigran Petrosian. You can choose Belgrade, Zagreb or LA. In your earlier videos you have stated it is is one of your favorite players of all time and you are ignoring me for years, while I'm suggesting this games to you. It's not about nationality it's about the beauty of the game. All the best
    P. S. Check out how many times I have suggested it.

  8. Amazing that after Ra7, the black king still has d7. What a player Magnus is, he apparently gets away with illegal moves!

  9. It's not the worst year for Magnus, it's simply the best year for cheaters. And netilantism is letting people like Hans Nieman get away with it because it's 'exciting to see the underdog win'. A shame really, for the chess world to get done over but people who had no clue what's going on. Hopping on the bandwagon, with FIDE and chess organisers across taking a backseat. Life is such

  10. Tbh, Magnus seems like he is so done with chess at the highest level he just doesnt wanna play with the garbage anymore because he plays stockfish anyways and he doesnt have to travel anywhere for that and just play from home.

  11. Magnus's Worse year is My TOP PERFORMANCE in my DREAMS 😂😂 😂

  12. I love the understated sales pitch for the other video lol😂

  13. Its good that magnus is helping lower rated players gain rating so the super-gm group will be more diverse

  14. Magnus motivation and general care to play classical for him is at an all time low and he started hating it after facing Fabi for the chess championship

  15. We dare Magnus Carlsen to prove that he can beat Ding Liren for the world championship, since he was able to dominate Magnus even at his best in 2019 as Agad said!

  16. if the rating topic is in his objective, then he will definitely make a come back in 2024 🙂

  17. Why he won't defend his title: he can't.

  18. Magnus needs to make a very public apology to Hans… Magnus has been shiet since his loss and his pu55y a55 quit the tournament.

  19. magnus is the best chess player ever by several everests

  20. Could you please copy the link in the comments. The first link in the description is something about some Mpool or something but not the second game between the Ding and Magnus. Actually there is no game for the second game or I can't find it. Thanks

  21. Depends on what Magnus consider to be bad for him. He probably has some fun paying chess especially in blitz.

  22. This was such an accomplishment for Ding! 🙂

  23. Hikaru's (the rapid WFRCC) wife almost beat Wesley So's (the classical WFRCC) girlfriend!

2023 USCC – Indeed Carissa Yip won and thanked Wesley So as her secret second in the 2023 USCC closing ceremony speech.

But in Carissa vs Atousa, Carissa was losing most of the game. Atousa just blundered in the end.

move 54 for black is an 8-move equality puzzle

    it's so sharp

  24. after bishop d3 rook d5 and you lose the bishop

  25. Magnus lost interest. He doesnt even bother grooming anymore. Magnus sad. Magnus dont want to play chess. World force Magnus.

  26. Ouch! Complicated! Thanks for showing how Ding could have won!

  27. Magnus if you're reading this. We want to see you in the candidates once more. Please for the fans!!

  28. playing most boring defending games for whole year didnt help? strange

  29. I don't know what that list is supposed to prove. It's the Qatar Masters that is dragging his rating down. The 1st loss to Suleymenov is well documented and the 2nd loss was a result of the 1st loss and Magnus trying to catch the leaders.

  30. 12:18 You can't play Bd3 without first seeing Rd5+ Ke6 defends the d3 bishop as after Rxd3, Rxg6+ and if Kxg6 it's stalemate and for any other move black grabs the f6 bishop and retains material equality. Rd5+ is what made me think Bd3 was impossible, and I'd imagine it's the most likely reason Magnus didn't play the move either. In fact, I suspect Kd6 was played to prepare Bd3 and Re3 was played to prevent it.

  31. Imagine telling that 2787 is bad, and Magnus is washed.

  32. @12:20 hmm, surely rock to d5. Not sure why this counts as a miss for Magnus

  33. Do people actually see a difference in 30 fps and 60 fps??

  34. His worst year and he's still the best in the world. What a tank

  35. Magnus problem is, there is currently NO OTHER player striving for a higher rating… How can he gain ELO, when none other even tries to break 2800?

  36. When you are playing on increment, you cannot "pause the video" for a few seconds🤣

  37. He didn't outplay him. Magnus defeated ding in Zagreb. Agadmator please be correct with facts rather than hyping Ding.
