  5. I love ‘the ‘ scotch too but find it difficult to play serious and sober when using the scotch. I tend to get so pissed get checkmated instantly!

  6. Anybody ever try the absolutely ridiculous Nakhmasson gambit?

  7. Was en passant playable in the game which would be discovered check

  8. Thanks for the masterpiece. Yet missed one amazing trap in the Scotch with the knight jumping to g5 and sacrificing itself on f7

  9. 18:00 Isnt that just the loss of a knight and bishop for a rook, mostly concidered a bad trade? Stockfish just says position is 0,0 after this exchange. Engine seems to like Nd2 first better.

  12. The scotch is my favorite for white! Nirkowitz defence for black!

  13. Tidak masuk akal ihh… Huhu.. Gak punya subscriber Ya!!

  14. 35:45 I might be wront but is taking "a passant" not an amazing move here. It gets a discovered attack on the king and if you defend with the horse the pawn takes it. If you block with the bishop you take thr horse with the other pawn.

  15. I love how he gets less and less nervous as he talks ❤

  17. Honestly, this kind of course is useless. You seem very nice and knowledgeable, but I believe this doesn’t help many of us. It’s super nice to analyse a bit top games, but what most of us want is to see the refutations. Why in this position, he chose to defend this piece. Just in the first 6 moves, black could have gone many different variations that are definitely worse for black, but that are hard to see over the board because they Include a lot of traps and tactics.

If we just wanted to see the engine moves, we’d do it ourselves. In a real game under 2400 Elo, you don’t reach even half of that main line.

  18. Can you suggest me a good book for opening oriented planning and development of chess games

  19. this truely is a great educational video on the scotch as it goes into a lot of opening and middlegame ideas instead of just focusing heavily on theory.
