  1. Nice… But please don't spoil the match in your video titles

  2. Most comments I come across, highly underrate Duda and Rapport. I think Duda should be a favourite.

  3. Magnus seems to always start off slow then just win the event,so I think naka got a bit lucky he got Magnus early

  4. Hello agadmator, thank you for the game.

  5. Before you guys hop on the hype train from this video remember that their classical record of decisive games are 14 wins Magnus – 1 win Hikaru. A WC match wouldn't be close, hikaru just has a stylistic or mental block vs magnus

  6. It is just astounding even to think that Hikaru, a player of this caliber, could just beat Manus once in his lifetime!!

  7. It appears that even if wins were just 2 points Magnus still would have won the tournament (13pts to Hikaru's 11). There just weren't a lot of wins. :/

  8. incredible video and idea for the pre Candidates video series. you're a genius Antonio and modern chess fandom wouldn't be the same without you

  9. Congrats to Hikaru in such a tough battle here!

  10. I think Hikaru vs Magnus would be very entertaining

  11. Magnus did not Use the Knight properly 😐.
Otherwise it may be a draw

  12. Does anyone know why pawn to B4 is such a consistently devastating move with white?

  13. Not in studio 😂
    First time new background ❤️🔥

  14. Opponent : I Have Mate In 4

    Agad : b4 😁👍🏻

  15. 3:58 "This pawn to f3 move is the beginning of white's downfall." That just sounds like Ben Finegold but with extra steps.

  16. Hikaru is a legend. I started watching his channel and got interested in chess. I came to know how exciting chess is and I say that as a big big UFC and boxing fan.

  17. Good that you keep posting moves after a player resign, because some people like me could not figure it out why.

  18. I NEVER Get tired of Magnus games. You could post one every day, Antonio

  19. "You have to lose hundreds of games before you can become a good player." -JRC / Well, I am putting in the work there!

  20. Magnus 14 to Hikaru 1 in classical chess

  21. Can someone tell me what #2992 means? It's been bugging me. I only noticed it lately, but it seems that it's been used for a while.

  22. magnus is really inevitable in tournaments huh

  23. It seems to me that Magnus was ahead for a time, while his rooks were active and black's rooks were contributing nothing. But then Magnus went on that offensive with his kingside pawns, which resulted in opening up the board for the black rooks to come alive. His offensive accomplished nothing good and actually helped black substantially. And, of course, that Pickett's Charge of the white pawns left the white king naked.

  24. 7:35 According to me, in this position Qg5 wins the game for white. How can you ever defend against Qxg7++ ?

  25. Agad drew an "F" around the king at the end. Lol just perfect….Press F to pay respects to Magnus =D

  26. An excellent game by Hikaru, gradually squeezing and squeezing Carlsen; the one game against Carlsen that Hikaru might hang on a wall …

  27. Engines: No big deal with an open king, just play the strongest move every time

  28. Yeah, I'm from Barcelona and that last video got me hyped at the beginning, but then I noticed I got bamboozled. No worries happens to everyone, love the content <3

  29. Hikaru is very brave enough to not trade queens on the other hand Magnus is dying to trade queens.. because with the queens Magnus is nothing.. he is the one always offers to queen trade.. that's why is games is so boring..
