  1. Regarding the computeresque variation you mentioned, with more time on the clock, I suppose MVL would be one of the few players standing a fair chance finding that victory. So often he plays really complex variations in a remarkable way, finding crazy lines. Really interesting game and nice coverage as always 🙂

  7. I was surprised how quickly MVL sacrificed the exchange. It's such a committal move and he didn't have to do it, but it took him less than two minutes to decide. Granted, it looks promising, but so does keeping it (at least for now).
