  1. I know it's somewhat old, but if you want to see something amazing Nakamura plays a game vs Crafty (computer) in which he gets checkmate… with 6 knights.

  2. caruana loose the only opportunity to grab title with classical games with his friend computer analysis….i think he used stockfish 😛

  3. You are doing it perfectly I really like but just an improvement you say rook instead of knight most of the times. No hate I hope you understand keep the nice job well done

  4. what about Qf5 instead of b1? stockfish says its even worse ^^

  5. I like the marvel – referenceses.

  6. Great video's helps improve my chess games. The more I watch the better I understand how important each move is in the end games. The end game is my weakest part of the game. Thank you

  7. This is definitely one of the best chess channels on youtube for sure! 🙂 I like that u follow the current chess games and phenomena and showcase a lot of variety of games and computer chess and whatnot with your awesome analysis keep up the nice work!, and damn Hikaru Nakamura, what beast!!

  8. 9:18 How clever of Caruana to put that bishop on a dark square.

  9. I think i can speak for many subscribers.. We wanna kiss you!!! (atleast i want to, no homo)

  10. agadmator seems way more exited and happy than in his old videos

  11. Congratulations on reaching more subscribers than ChessNetwork, Agadmator! 😁

  12. How can I double like your video? I like your content and now I like it more due to your in-jokes

  13. Nice potential checkmate in the side game. The queen and bishop return to their starting squares to deliver a checkmate on g5!

  14. Congratulations agadmator for your suscribers

  15. How about e5 followed by Qf7 for the last position or did i miss something?

  16. Beautiful win by Nakamura, played with elegant style as always.

  17. From time to time Caruana does win games, right? 🙂

  18. At 12:13, can't Black play Ne3 and threaten checkmate with Qg2? I don't see how that could be stopped, only delayed.

  19. I really like the quote, thank you agadmator

  20. Don't know if the comments say this, but 4 move checkmate also seems to be 1….g6+ 2. Kh6 Bf8+ 3. Kg5 Kg7 4. any… Be7# . Of course a white Queen sacrifice can happen in any variation, sometimes making the mate take one move longer. (Note with 4. Kh4, the Black knight is covering h3 ! ; – )

  21. At 4:30 you can simply push the g pawn to stall checkmate

  22. Wtf, first you forced us to stop cold turkey with the alpha zero, and now you are rubbing it in… I feel like l forcefeeding you diamorphine for a cople of weeks, then abruptly remove it and then when you are in terrible withdrawal I like "ok Agadmator, time for a new dose!", and then "I'm only kidding…" and then give you some paracetamol instead. 🙁

  23. I love the fact that Agadmator doesn't just seek his viewers' instant gratification by giving them the narrow range of content they request.

His respect for the history and humanity the game (characters, stories, romantic play) combined with his use of slower, deeper media (chess writing, photos, long story arcs) make this channel what it is.

What the audience asks for is not necessarily what they would actually enjoy the most… I certainly wouldn't want a committee of fans writing my favourite bands' songs!

  24. AGAD: ”Between Alpha zero” ME: ”YAAAY!!😍” AGAD: ”Just Kidding, Caruana” ME: “ehh, I guess he is okay to…”

  25. 5:27
    "Put that bishop down."
"Uh, yeah…NO, bad call, he loves his bishop."
"You want me to put the bishop down!?"

  26. Again It was nice game to see from agadmator and his complex explanation with all the possibilities of defender and attacker's moves.

  27. What happens after bishop d5 and pawn f6 is played

  28. At 4:28 after the black queen to C2 what would happen if you defended using Queen to F1?
If Bishop to D4 then white pawn to F3/4 would allow the Bishop to defend the Knight?
Just a thought that came up, as always great commentary

  29. …Qf5.Qa4.b5.Qa2 and win the bishop another wining move 😉 but Hikaru Qb1 fantastic short win. and last quitz – g6.Kh6 Bf8.Kg5 Kg7. and bishop delivers mate on e7

  30. 4:28 White plays f1 and everything is fine 🙂
If black continues with Qb1 then b4 defending the rook with queen.

  31. i like listening at 0.75 speed, helps me grasp what's going on a little better.

  32. His plan would have worked out if he had some GODDAMN FAITH ARTHUR!
