With the classical variation of the Nimzo-Indian defense, white avoids having their queenside structure damaged by Bxc3. The queen is now prepared to make this recapture from c2. A downside however is that the white queen is deployed very early, and she can feel uneasy at her post if black reacts energetically in the center. How exactly can black try to exploit the white queen position, if at all? This was a 5|0 time control game, where I was playing with the white pieces.

Isn't 29. Ne6 if Kg7, forking the king and rook, instead of retreating to Nf3, an option?
Low skilled player, I saw 15. …Ne5 right away as what I wanted to play for black. Not a huge difference, but it feels good when I see that my chess vision is improving and I am seeing top moves. 🙂

I'm not sure i'm getting the point of the improvement suggested with 13. Nd5. Instead of capturing with the pawn, Black can capture first with the N on f6. then cxd, exd, the c file is open, eventually White can pile up on the pinned N on c6, but it seems that Black can defend with B and R. What am i missing?
I would've taken the pawn on h7, a little calculation would show that its just a goner and black would still miss out on getting the rook to d8 if the black king went to g7… Ng5, Rd8, Ne6 forks the king and rook and instant resignation. Even if the black king goes to say e7 to avoid another check and tempo loss then Ng5 and Nf3 and none the worse.
