12-year-old Romania National Under-20 Champion – FM Henry Edward Tudor, stuns Victor Mikhalevski

12-year-old FM Henry Edward Tudor is a huge talent from Romania. He recently won Romanian National Under-20 Classical, Under-14 Rapid and Blitz Open and Solving Competition. In Round 6 of Sardinia World Chess Festival 2024, Henry defeated GM Victor Mikhalevski (ISR). How did he manage to do that? We get to know all about it and more.

  1. May 2024: Of all the kids (13 or younger) in the world, he's got the 8th highest FIDE rating (classical chess). Henry can't beat the world records of Mishra or Erdogmus anymore, but he's improving incredibly fast, and I wouldn't be surprised, if he continued to overtake prodigy after prodigy on his way to becoming a GM. His brain is a marvel, a force of nature.
